Wolf Pack Basketball

in Local News/Sports

For anyone looking to see what the No. 7 basketball team in the country looks like, the next couple of weeks have got you covered.

Nevada — ranked No. 7 in the AP Top 25 poll and No. 9 in the USA Today coaches’ poll — opens the 2018-19 season with four games at home. First up is BYU on Tuesday night (8 p.m., CBS Sports Network).

The Wolf Pack split its two exhibition games, losing to Washington at Lawlor Events Center and beating San Francisco State at the Virginia Street Gym. In both of those games, Wolf Pack coach Eric Musselman experimented with different lineups for a Nevada team that has one of the deepest rosters in the nation, but also features a number of players who have not played together before.
