City of Reno cleanup of downtown train tracks displaces 131 homeless residents

RENO, Nev. (News 4 & Fox 11) — A mile-long camp near the Downtown Reno railroad tracks was evacuated and cleaned Wednesday morning, forcing 131 people to find a new place to stay.

According to the City of Reno, the clean up was arranged because there was a health code violation issued against that area of the train tracks, which is owned by the city.
